Once in a Blue Moon
Quan Yin & Wesak Moon Visionary Silk Artist Sheranda Tay fills her silk paintings with angel and goddess inspired figures that reflect her love of metaphysical ideals. Birth and motherhood are also often depicted in her shimmering work. The lyrical lines of her images on silk reveal the magical childlike energy that Sheranda likes to portray in vivid colors. Her work emanates delicate and ethereal femininity.
Last night was the second Wesak full (blue) moon in Scorpio and while I am a bit relieved that it's over, we are undoubtedly still in the throes of this transformational shift. Luckily, the intensity is beginning to wane and we should have fully integrated the energy by the end of the week.
Indeed we have been thrown through a proverbial loop this past weekend and if you are sensitive enough to notice, you may have felt this energy creeping in as early as last Thursday.
What a time it has been to cleanse and purge our old be-lie-f systems and patterns!
This purging was also taking place on the physical level through detoxification so you may have noticed some unrelenting stomach/bowel discomfort, rashes, bloating or insomnia/deep sleep combos. Not to mention, the earth is clearly detoxifying as well through earthquakes, storms and natural events.
As we ground more and more light into our lives and the earth we naturally expel toxins from our bodies, minds and souls. We also have the divine opportunity to see any misaligned thought forms and be-lie-fs that were creating the perfect environment for dis-ease in our lives.
On a cosmic level we are being (p)urged on this very rare moon to fully release any attachment to past pain and suffering so we can rise above our played-out karma to deeply realize that we have the power to heal and change.
Though we are still in the process of this purgation, and it can feel pretty gooey, we are assured a successful transition long as we have the courage to face our deepest fears and let them go completely.
On a personal level this looks much different of course... what we have the ability to release can look like challenge after challenge through emotional, financial, and relational upheaval...and this is the global reality as well.
Fortunately, these unremitting challenges force us to expand our potential, go deeper, and bring to the surface the much-needed template for our new lives. We are digging and unearthing our truth while being prompted to look at our situations with great sobriety ...and not the lives we wish for, but the lives that we are living.
This is the purpose of the full moon, to illuminate that which is hidden, and though this can sometimes be uncomfortable to face, it is not possible to move beyond limitation without realizing its existence first. This is the process of transmutation and the good news is that once you can see it fully, it is already gone....long as you don't get attached to it.
There also seems to be a clear energetic division right now between our old creations and our new possibilities. You may feel on one level that things are aligning beautifully and rather effortlessly for your next steps , while at the same time you are still struggling to meet your daily obligations due to financial burdens, stress, fatigue, brain fog, confusion, apathy, disconnect and all the physical accoutrements. This is just a major clearing, so try to remain as detached as possible until it passes and I assure you that the other side of this will be well worth it.
The feeling of being neither here nor there is unsettling, but temporary...it can be likened to a train which has not quite left the station... it's waiting for all the passengers for New Earth to arrive, though struggling to leave their luggage at the baggage check.
At first, the passengers may feel insecure without their suitcases, afraid they will lose their identity if their luggage gets lost... but once they board the train they slowly begin to realize that they are freed from the burden of having to cart around their heavy, made-up stories.
This is where we are now, realizing that when we completely let go of our past we can experience the full lightness of being required to intentionally create our future through the present.
This stellar opportunity for radical transformation truly happens once in a blue moon!
