Brother Sun, Sister Moon & The Circle of Fire

For those of you who may not know, this past Sunday a rare and very important astronomical configuration took place. Even if you did not know about this event on a conscious level, chances are you intuitively felt the effects throughout the weekend, most notably on Sunday.

According to Vedic Atrology, April 13, at 5:30 am Pacific Daylight Time, the Sun entered Aries in the Sidereal Zodiac. This marked the beginning of the Solar Year in Vedic Astrology.

What does this mean for us?

According to Dattatreya Siva Baba..."this year, 2008, the moon will be in the constellation called Pushya, in Cancer, (when the sun enters Aries). It is during the Pushya star that people, yogis, and siddhas ascend. It is a very powerful star for ascension. This combination happens rarely: once every 1,000 years. During this time, the two brains (the left and the right hemispheres) will undergo a radical change to receive greater intelligence. In the science of Yoga, the left brain is associated with the Sun (male) and the right brain with the Moon (female). Not only on the physical brain level, but also in the subtle body, changes will take place giving us a new type of consciousness, a new type of intelligence that will make our lives more fruitful, more intelligent."

In honor of this momentous occasion, many beings of light, directed by the Spiritual Hierarchy, are asking us to join in a special global purification meditation before the sun exits Aries (fire) and enters into Taurus (earth) on the 19th. This window of special opportunity is open for a few more days to assist us to cleanse and purify our past mis-creations in preparation for ushering in the new consciousness heralded by the full (Wesak/Buddha) moon in Scorpio.

As part of the collective vision toward a new-earth based in unity consciousness the lighted realms are asking us to perfect our visions of our future and and hold them in our hearts and minds for 12 minutes at 12:12pm Central Standard Time on Thursday, April 17th. CLICK HERE for time converter

This global effort will act as a preliminary purification passage prior to the Wesak (Buddha) Full moon in Scorpio (water) on April 20th when we will ground the divine masculine energies of spiritual enlightenment to fully embrace our gifts of conscious co-creation.

We have been purifying our lives with the fiery passion of Aries all month long and with great fervor. You may have noticed the burning desire for new life/projects/careers, the burning off of old contracts/realities (loss of jobs/ homes/relationships), the fiery flare-up of tempers and sudden bouts of anger, or simply the feeling of being burned-out.

On a physical level, this burning off of the old even manifested as intense night sweats, facial flushing, sudden coldness and radical temperature changes in our bodies with great fatigue. You may have even noticed energy pulsing through the left or right side of your body creating weaknesses, aching or physical symptoms that seem to gather solely on one side or maybe it felt like the bottom just suddenly fell out.

All of this blazing energy was in preparation for the rebirth of our new consciousness made possible by this legendary event on the 13th and soon to be followed by the fantastic full moon in watery Scorpio which will serve to squelch much of the fury and create greatly-needed balance.

To access the full power of this global meditation, the Spiritual Hierarchy is suggesting that we visualize a circle of fire to invoke the purification power of sacred ceremony.

The circle represents the interconnectivity of all.

Fire represents purification of the past and the passion to live our expanded human potential in the present.

Together in this meditation our commitment is to ourselves as individuals and to the greater whole. When we choose to join together in this circle of fire we join a collective intent for personal and global transformation and freedom.

If possible, light a sacred fire or burn a candle of your own tradition to spark the remembrance of our oneness during this special occasion. If you cannot use the element of fire in your meditation you can simply visualize the ring of fire provided in the image above.

If you are unable to join in at the designated time, consciously intend to be a part of the event thereby adding your powerful energy of thought.

By supporting this ceremony with your simultaneous fires and conscious intent, this event will powerfully purify the past to create the sacred space for a global community of new earth.
